Community Education Material for Covid Awareness and Self-Care Against Covid-19

The following educational materials that will be available on NAINA website in English and five Asian Indian languages was prepared by NAINA members to help improve the knowledge and self-care practices of all members of the community. In an attempt to reach minority communities, the teaching material was translated in five Indian languages namely Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu. This activity was undertaken to fulfill the objectives for the Pfizer Independent Medical Education Grant on the topic “COVID 19: The Pandemic That Changed the World: An Educational Intervention to Prepare Healthcare Professionals to Combat the Novel Corona Virus.” The educational flier is intended to help health care professionals :

  1. Provide health education to communities on prevention of disease transmission during the pandemic and after the surge of illness by practicing respiratory hygiene, social distancing, and other recommendations from authoritative sources and regulatory agencies
