National Association of Indian Nurses of America (NAINA) wants to help remove financial barriers and promote nursing education by providing financial assistance of $500 each to 5 students from India during the 9th NAINA Biennial Conference to be held on October 4  &  5, 2024 in Albany, New York.

The Scholarship Application is open from March 15th – June 30, 2024

The chairperson of the NAINA Awards & Scholarship Committee Chair will notify award recipient via email four (4) weeks prior to the event. The award will be mailed to the student after the event.

ELIGIBILITY CRIERIA:
1. Currently enrolled in a Diploma, Baccalaureate or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Program.
2. Maintain a good Academic record.
3. One letter of recommendation from the faculty/instructor (not to exceed 75-100 words)
4. Student must have at least one more year to complete the nursing program.
5. Please attach a photograph of the applicant in JPEG

1. Why I chose Nursing? Explain in few sentences.
2. Family background- parents, what do they do
3. Number of brothers/sisters, what do they do
4. Plans after completing nursing- teaching, bedside, leadership etc
