Dr. Pressanna Parackal for receiving the Health Care Leadership Award from the American College of Healthcare Executives – South Central Texas!!, March, 2021. Dr. Parackal is the founding President of San Antonio Indian Nurses Association (SAINA), a chapter of the National Association of Indian Nurses of America. Dr. Parackal serves as a House Supervisor in the University Health System and as a Nurse officer on Duty at the Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. In her role she has successfully improved patient outcomes by streamlining nursing activities, improving resource utilization and optimizing patient safety Dr. Parackal currently serves as the website and communication chair of NAINA.
